Hello everyone,

I'm finally taking the time to write to you after much hesitation. This month, I wanted to be very honest with you: it's a rather complicated time. The art world is suffering enormously from the current crisis, and we're feeling it more and more strongly at conventions, between exhibitors, on social media... There's real pressure on the numbers, constant anxiety—and it's sometimes difficult to juggle commercial survival and artistic passion.
I admit that it dampens my creativity a little. But despite everything, I especially want to share with you what remains essential: the passion, the joy, the exchanges, the kindness of the visitors, the organizers, all of you. And that gives me the strength to continue.
Planning side
I wanted a lighter season... but it's a failure! Two additional events have been added:
Japan Mania – Reims (May 3-4)A new, promising convention, very qualitative, with a passionate and invested team. The energy of the "new" is felt, and I really can't wait to be there! I will have a large stand , full of originals, paintings, and maybe even some more exceptional pieces like calligraphy .
The Dajot Courtyard – Tokyo Market Brest (end of June) It's a last-minute surprise! I'm happy to be able to return to Brittany, where I haven't been able to go for a while (complicated schedule, less accessible fairs for artists, etc.). Meanwhile, Alex will be at Japan Tours in my place.
Product side
A quick update on what’s new in the store!
The SunCatchers This little test was a great surprise! They're a huge hit, and I'm thrilled with how well they've been received. Unfortunately, I didn't plan on making enough at the start, so I have to wait for reprints before I can put them online. But they'll be back very soon, with a few more little models! Honestly, having a few little successes right now feels great. Thank you for all your support. ❤️
What's next? I'd love to diversify the types of products a little more... but I'm lost in front of all the possibilities! Stickers, temporary tattoos, other crazy ideas... I'm completely open at the moment. Don't hesitate to come and give me your ideas, your desires - it would help me enormously to choose!
Project side
The crisis and stress don't help to have a straight line... so it's going a bit in all directions! 😅
The Crossover This project is close to my heart: a completely off-the-wall A2 triptych, blending all the universes. A real technical challenge, especially to set the scene before integrating the jokes and characters. I hope to make serious progress on it in the coming weeks.
New A5 collection Alongside the Ombres collection (focused on acrylic), I'm working on a new A5 series... although I'm still unsure about the exact content. It will be a much more varied collection, but this time focused on watercolor , ink , and softer, more traditional techniques. I want to explore something more fluid, lighter, and above all, to test other artistic approaches.
The Artbook This is a project that has been on my mind for years... and I am more motivated than ever to try to launch it. But to be completely honest, it still scares me very, very much. The editions are almost ready (there would be about forty pieces selected), I met with an incredible printer again, saw magnificent examples of other artists... It makes me want to take the plunge. However, the doubt remains strong. Nothing is 100% sure yet, but I really hope to find the courage to launch it. And if the project sees the light of day, your support, your word of mouth, will make all the difference. ❤️
In short, April is a month of doubts, but also of momentum. Thank you so much for being there, for continuing to follow, to encourage, to believe in art made with sincerity. It changes everything, really.
See you soon on the roads or online,
