The purpose of "crowdfunding" is to finance the project, to allow you to participate in the very design of the work, to follow its progress and its evolution.
Participate and share around the future book.
The more of you there are, the more beautiful it will be (large format, hard cover, gilding and many other surprises...).
To make my dream come true, I chose the French leader, the Ulule site, to which I have been loyal for years now, as a contributor. I have decided today to move to the other side and I hope you will follow me in this new stage of my career.
The campaign is scheduled to launch in September 2022,
in September for receipt of the work in 2023!
Projet en stand by / On hiatus
C'est un projet qui me tient énormément à cœur. Cependant, il était certainement trop ambitieux pour un premier jet, et incompatible avec la réalité, c'est-à-dire un marathon constant de 25 à 30 salons par an à travers l'Europe avec des allers-retours incessants sur Paris. J'ai dû me rendre à l'évidence. Alors, pour ne pas faire les choses à moitié, j'ai préféré le mettre en pause, le temps de lui laisser l'espace qu'il mérite.
Et quand il sortira, j'espère qu'il trouvera sa place dans vos bibliothèques.
I have always been fascinated by Japan, its beauty, its culture and its art of perfection. For my very first book, I present to you a collection of illustrations on the theme of geishas, kimonos, but also hanfus, ancient and traditional Chinese costumes which is at the very origin of the costumes of East and Southeast Asia.
Each drawing is made with traditional techniques, often mixed, ranging from alcohol markers, to colored pencils and watercolor. Each new illustration is the result of experiences through which I also share my passion and love for beautiful products and fine art materials.
